what elements are there in Italian pattern design?
I'm referring to fabric patterns. what i'm trying to say is... there are certain patterns which you can guess where they come from. I want to design patterns on my garments that can make people see it is italian inspired. so, i need to know the elements & influences, as i'm not Italian.
I'm afraid there's nothing particular like Scottish kilt
and even if they had some national patterns centuries ago, hardly anyone would recognize it now
