RECLINING SOFA SLIPCOVER to protect our leather from our dogs?
I can find slip covers for our recliner, but not our reclining sofa. Its a laz-y-boy sofa with reclining ends. To make matters worse the center back cushion folds down for a middle tray table thing. I'm not to worried about the center, but need a cover that will accommodate the end recliners. We are simply looking to protect our leather from the dogs nails. Slowly but surely they are wearing it out. They are small dogs so we never thought to train them to stay off, plus were not always home during the day to keep them off. Please help... a slip cover would be great but any advice will do. Thank you.
I bought a shag rug with rubber backing and trained the dog to sleep on it. It looks good on the leather sofa. Covering up a nice leather sofa with a slipcover is kind of depressing.
